Staff at Humpty Dumpty
We are committed to providing a working environment in which our staff can develop to their full potential. All our teachers have CACHE (Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education) Level 3 certification and our teaching assistants are CACHE Level 1 qualified. Our staff have access to ongoing training and updates and we work to share best practice and information across our nurseries.
Details of our staff are displayed in each nursery and you will be introduced to key members caring for your child. Young children require a familiar and trusted adult to support their personal, social and physical development. Thus, each of our staff members is trained in the age group of children they are caring for. This enables your child to explore their environment and to broaden their experiences.
We have a full-time nurse on site. In addition, all our staff have completed a comprehensive Paediatric First Aid course, specifically designed for babies and children.
Chandani – Class Assistant at Al Bateen
Hello, my name is Chandralatha and I have been working at Humpty Dumpty Nursery Al Bateen for the last 25 years! I was first employed by Ms Sue Gordon when the nursery opened in a villa on Airport Road. After that, we moved to Khalidya and then to Al Bateen where we are right now.
I have taken care of many many children over the years and I especially enjoy the baby class.
One very interesting story was when one of the children I taught – who is now a mum herself – brought her child to my class. I could hardly believe my eyes! It reminded me of how far we have come since those early years.
I will treasure the memories we have made with our children and their parents for the rest of my life, long after I go back to Sri Lanka.
Victoria – Head Teacher at Khalifa City
Hi, my name is Vicky. I moved to Abu Dhabi 10 years ago from England with my husband Simon and my two children, Ben and Harry.
I have worked at Humpty Dumpty Nursery Khalifa City since moving here.
The Nursery has always been a friendly and supportive place to work and both colleagues and parents have become good friends over the years.
It’s wonderful to be able to keep in touch with the children over the years to see how they have grown and developed into beautiful young adults.
Michelle – Head Teacher at Al Bateen
Hi, my name is Michelle and I have worked within early years education since 2000.
I have been with Humpty Dumpty Nurseries since 2012.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with young children in Abu Dhabi, forming strong bonds with them and supporting them to develop and flourish all while having fun.
I look forward to meeting all of our potential parents and I am excited to introduce the children to lots of new experiences at Humpty Dumpty.
